List 75s - Part 2 (narrow, raised edge, oval logo on barrel)
This group of List 75s in Part 2 is believed to be the next step in the evolution of the 1 pc. barrel List 75 model. All of these hydrants has an oval logo cast onto the barrel.
  • Note the presence of the quotation marks on either side of Ludlow.
  • The oval of this logo has a narrow (1/8") raised border. The logos (generally two but some have only one) can be found on either the front & back or both sides of the barrel. This location is indicated below when known.
  • This group of List 75 hydrants with this style of logo can be found with and without the nut pockets; apparently a period of design transition. The presence or lack of these 'nut pockets' is so noted with each hydrant shown in this section.
    •   List 75: Logo is 2¼" width oval
    These, the smallest List 75s, are listed separately because of their size.
  • These small hydrants have either one or two logos on the barrel.
  • The bonnet has no patent date but this may be because there wasn't room on the very small bonnet for the wording.
