Shilla Fire Co., Ltd. - Inchon City, Korea

Shilla Fire Co., Ltd. was founded in 1975 as the Han Young Fire Company. Their first products were fire fighting nozzles, foam chambers, and valves. The company was renamed Shilla Fire Equipment Co in 1980. Shilla began the manufacture of aboveground fire hydrants in 1997, and obtained their ISO 9002 certification at this time. The company name was changed to Shilla Fire Co., Ltd. in the year 2000.

  SLH 150F / SLH 150T
Identifying Characteristics: An industrial type dry barrel hydrant with a multi piece barrel design, and a 12 bolt drain ring flange at the shoe. Nozzles are a bolt-on design. Inlet diameter is 6". Main valve diameter is 150mm.
  • Model SLH 150F is a 4-way hydrant, equipped with a single 4" #250 blind flange for monitor connection. Manufactured since 1998.
  • Model SLH 150T is similar to above, but is a 3-way hydrant without a blind flange. This model was added in 2001.

      SLH 150C
    Identifying Characteristics: 3-way dry barrel hydrant with a 2 piece barrel design, 8 bolt ground line and shoe flanges. Bonnet is deeply ribbed. Inlet diameter is 6". Main valve diameter is 150mm. Manufactured since 1998.

      SLH 100 / SLH 100A
    Identifying Characteristics: 2-way dry barrel hydrant, with a 2 piece barrel design, and with 4 bolt ground line and shoe flanges. Bonnet is deeply dished around bolt heads. Inlet diameter is 4". Main valve diameter is 100mm.
  • Model SLH 100 has outlets perpendicular to the ground. Manufactured since 1997.
  • Model SLH 100A is identical to above, except that the outlets are angled downwards 15 degrees to ease strain on fire hose.

      Simple Frame Hydrant
    Identifying Characteristics: Non self-draining simple hydrant fabricated from carbon steel pipe. Inlet diameter is 4" or 6".
  • 6" models are available with a monitor flange at the top of the hydrant, or with a steamer connection, etc.
