Identifying Characteristics:
  • Appearance is similar to Rich's conical-shaped hydrants found in Part 1.
  • An operating nut up top and lack of valving for each nozzle, indicates that it is a wet riser hydrant. The mainvalve is in the valve housing just below the hydrant's flange.
