Rensselaer Valve - Troy, NY
L-90A & L-90B Models
These two models differ externally only in the shape of the bonnet. The L-90A bonnet has a "humped" shape whereas the later L-90B bonnet is much flatter. These models are found in only 2 piece barrels. No multiple valve hydrants of either of these models have been documented. The V.O. (valve opening) size is cast on the barrel below the date.
  L-90A
  • "COREY 90A" is cast on the bonnet, and "L-90A" is cast on the barrel.
  • L-90As dating from 1942-1954 have been found. There was an overlap in production between the L-90A and the earlier List 90. There are documented examples of 1942 L-90As and 1956 List 90s.
