Florence Pipe Foundry & Machine Co. - Florence, NJ

Milwaukee Water Works (MWW) city records indicate that they bought 250 of their first model of city spec. hydrants for $62.50 each from this company in 1937. This mention in Milwaukee's city records of the Florence Pipe Foundry & Machine Co. is currently FireHydrant.org's only clue that this company existed and made fire hydrants.

Some 25 years later Florence, NJ was also a manufacturing location for the R.D.Wood hydrant model found halfway down on this page; it is unknown to FH.O if there was any connection between the two companies.
