Eddy Iowa - Oskaloosa, IA
These fire hydrants were manufactured by Clow Valve, but the fire hydrant has no mention of Clow Valve. The name "Iowa Eddy" is cast on the hydrant. This name was derived from two sources; Iowa Valve and Eddy Valve. Iowa Valve was a company that was acquired by Clow Valve in the early 1970's that made this model of fire hydrant. Eddy Valve was another company acquired by Clow Valve that made other models of fire hydrants.
  Model "50"
This model continues on with the Iowa Valve Model 50 design.
  • Hydrant model and valve opening size can generally be found on the barrel and on bonnet.
