0343 This fire hydrant was restored by Mike Taylor who does a lot of restoration work as a hobby (see his website : www.rememwhen.com). This incredible restoration job includes a base/skirt which gives it the appearance that it was just taken off the sidewalks in the year 1901! Click on the image to see a higher resolution image.
